Author and Family OK, Dogs Rattled

At 11:30 AM today, a series of three to four explosions were heard in the neighborhood off Mentone Blvd. and Sapphire. The explosions preceded a house fire that sent thick plumes of black smoke into the air, but was quickly dispatched by the San Bernardino County Fire Department.

Witnesses at the scene debated the possible existence of a drug lab. Casualties at this time are unknown, but between the explosions and multiple sirens, this author's dogs are, like, totally freaking out right now.
